13 Indonesian Muslim Fashion Designers: Amy Atmanto, Anne Rufaidah, Boyonz Ilyas, Dian Pelangi, Hannie Hananto, Irna Mutiara, Jenny Tjahyawati, Malik Moestaram, Merry Pramono, Monika Jufry, Najua Yanti, Nieta Hidayani, and Nuniek Mawardi.



These thirteenth designers will showcase Islamic outfits but still carry the culture of Indonesia.

Fuchsia Riverstone

Hijabi Fashion Week Nov 2011 - Day 6 

Theme: Date with Hubby





What color is Fuchsia?



The hot Pink-Purple color is called Fuchsia. On the purple side of pink, fuchsia is another name for magenta... and here is myself sporting my new favorite scarf, Fuchsia Riverstone Batik Scarf, for my "a week late" Hijabi Fashion Week - Day 6's Look: going date with hubby.. ;)



The scarf was made by a handmade-weaving technique with cute fuchsia riverstones motifs on it. The color gave a sense of romantic; the materials and the motifs gave a sense of ethnic yet fashionable and edgy.

Outfits:

• Scarf by Ina'sScarf: Riverstone motifs, handmade woven made in Indonesia by the local craftmen. I am proud wearing this scarf.. :)


• An ethnic necklace from Kalimantan worn as a bracelet.


• Wedges with hexagonal motifs; The motifs look like Phyton-skin motifs.
